You can access your contacts from the OCS Interface


1.  Access your PBX Interface and Log in (yourcompany.ocs.othos.co.za)


2. Go to Applications > Contact:



3. Click on the plus sign on top of the table to add a new contact:



4. Select the type of contact, fill out the fields with pertinent information and click save.



5. Go back into the contact to fill out more information that wasn’t available when you first created the contact.

- Adding a number is the most important additional field.



- Type the fields for the number on this contact:

PS: Add the contact number with in the format +27(number), e.g +27216736801.



- Click save and the number will be added:




Important notes:

1. Contacts added to the PBX will match the caller ID on your incoming calls, allowing your Desktop Softphones, Mobile Apps and Yealink Phones to show your contact name automatically if it has been added.


2. The contacts will update automatically on your Mobile App and Desktop App contact lists. See more about your softphone contact list here: Contacts List | Othos Desktop


3. Ensure each contact number is saved in +E164 format e.g. +27216736801.
