- ADSL is never recommended for VoIP, as ADSL is a best-effort type connection where no guarantees can be made with regards to bandwidth and stability. On an ADSL connection, issues with VoIP are to be expected.
- If an ADSL connection is to be used for VoIP, it will need to be at least a business-class account, please note that even with a business-class account it still not recommended.
- Shared connections are strongly advised against – only a high quality, business-grade fibre connection with enough bandwidth to support VoIP and other usage will be supported for shared usage.
