How to Configure Othos Account on Microsip

Instructions to configure your Othos extension on MicroSIP.


1 - Install MicroSIP - Download: https://www.microsip.org 

2 - Go to "top right Corner arrow" > "Add Account"

3 - Insert account name i.e. Acme JHB

4 - Insert the Domain and SIP server (info shared by Othos)

5 - Insert the extension number into the "Username" and "Login" fields

6 - Insert the extension's password

7 - Add the user's description i.e. Your name, reception, sales, etc.

8 - Save

9 - Go to "top right Corner arrow" > "Setting"

10 - Make sure only G729 8kHz is enabled




TLS or UDP?


Depending on your network you might need to change the TRANSPORT configuration. We ALWAYS recommend using TLS as standard.
