Manually inserting the Othos URL to provision a Yealink phone

The instructions below are intended for users on OTHOS TELECOM phone system ONLY, and may not be applicable for devices on other platforms. For more information on using our services, please visit our website www.voipeasy.co.za or give us a call on 021 673 6801.  

If your Yealink phone has very old firmware, it may not configure automatically after we added it to our provisioning server. Then, manual interaction with the phone is necessary:

1. Plug the phone to the network and power (if not POE);
2. Go to the phone and press the "OK" button;
3. Check the IP of the phone;
4. Open browser and type the IP in the URL bar;
5. Log in to the phone (standard details are admin/admin);
6. Go to Settings > Auto Provision;
7. Insert http://boot.othos.co.za/yealink.cfg in the "Server URL" field;
8. Click "Auto Provision Now" once and wait until you see "Operation is done";
9. Click "Auto Provision Now" AGAIN!!!! and wait until you see "Operation is done";
10. The phone will reboot several times (around 3 times);
11. Your phone should be configured;
